CM/ECF Training

CM/ECF has been on-line for public use since January 2, 2006. Training Classes are offered monthly. You should run the Computer Training Modules to get acquainted with the CM/ECF screens and some other necessary computer functions.

Course Description

Hands-on and lecture-format training is provided at the courthouse for attorneys and their staff. The hands-on classes are three hours in length and are available at no charge. This seminar provides attorneys and their support staff with the knowledge necessary to use the electronic filing system. Class size is 12 students.

Topics to be covered include:

Practice issues, including: electronic signatures, noticing and retention of original documents and system requirements, what to do with material that cannot be filed electronically
How to file electronically
How to receive electronic notice of filings
How to retrieve electronically filed documents
How to submit orders and stipulations
What to do if you have difficulties filing electronically
